Sunday May 20th 2pm

Devonshire tea at Cummins House followed by a tour of the historic house at 23 Sheoak Ave, Novar Gardens. Cummins House was built in 1842 for Sir John Morphett and his wife Elizabeth. The house originally stood on 132 acres of  working farmland on which orchards, vines and olive groves and a variety of local and imported trees were tended. The property also farmed sheep and held a well-known horse stud.

 

Sunday June 24th 1pm

Police Museum tour followed by Devonshire tea. The Museum is set in the South Australia Police Barracks built in 1914, and depicts the history of crime and  deviance, and law enforcement, in South Australia. Thebarton Police Barracks, Port Road, Thebarton.
